Cook, Taste and Enjoy OSAKA sits on the 4th floor in lively Nishishinsaibashi, a short walk from Dotonbori’s neon buzz. Here, your Osaka memories come with a delicious soundtrack: the sizzle of a hot plate, the aroma of dashi, and plenty of friendly chatter. You’ll make classic local dishes with your own hands, then sit down to enjoy them fresh—because Osaka food is best when it’s hot, messy, and shared. It’s a fun break between shopping in Amerikamura and exploring Shinsaibashi, and a great way to understand the city’s “kuidaore” spirit beyond restaurants.

This is a traditional Japanese cultural practice, also known as sado (the Way of Tea). It emphasizes the art of serving tea to guests with respect and mindfulness, reflecting the spirit of Zen and the aesthetic of wabi-sabi.
Great care is given to the choice of utensils and seasonal decorations. Within the quiet atmosphere of the tea room, the philosophy of wa-kei-sei-jaku (harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility) comes alive.
More than just drinking tea, it is a cultural practice unique to Japan that nurtures inner peace and values harmony between people.
In this experience, you will learn about the history of the tea ceremony and prepare matcha together.
The experience can be enjoyed while seated on chairs.
